According to the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings, the Cockrell School ranks 11th overall for its undergraduate programs.

Undergraduates enrolled in the Cockrell School in 2011-12 received more than 1,200 scholarships, totaling more than $4.4 million.

The Cockrell School of Engineering has nine internationally acclaimed undergraduate degree programs across seven departments.

In the fall of 2011, entering freshmen at the Cockrell School of Engineering had an average SAT, or equivalent, score of 1357.

Most undergraduate students are from the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class, and 10 percent were valedictorians or salutatorians.

The Cockrell School awards a higher percentage of undergraduate degrees to Hispanics and African Americans than other top programs at public schools.

The Cockrell School awards the 10th highest number of undergraduate degrees to women among more than 340 engineering schools.

Senior faculty constitute the fourth highest membership in the National Academy of Engineering, the nation's highest honor for engineers.

At the Cockrell School of Engineering, undergraduate students receive an innovative engineering education that opens doors to national and global opportunities.
